From 1 November 2025, the Support at Home program replaced Home Care Packages, offering a more flexible and personalised approach to help you live safely and independently at home.
The Support at Home program is the Australian Government’s new aged care initiative designed to help older Australians remain living independently at home for longer.
This program replaced the Home Care Packages (HCP) and Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) programs on 1 November 2025, offering a simpler, fairer and more flexible approach to in-home care.
With eight new classification levels (up from four), Support at Home provides more precise funding matched to your individual care needs, ensuring you receive the right level of support at the right time.
At Hosanna Health Care, we are an approved Support at Home provider committed to helping you navigate this new program and access the care you deserve.
